Chair Yoga

Mondays, Thursdays
10am - 11:05am EST

Ongoing + Year-round

We could all use skills to combat the flight or fight pace of life these days and Chair Yoga teaches you to take the gifts of yoga back to your armchair, office chair, lawn chair, throne....

This class suits folks for whom getting up and down off the floor is now prohibited, but folks looking for relief from too many hours at an office desk are also welcome, as are summer guests, friends and family.

Everyone can benefit from this class that uses the support of a chair to move through stretching and strengthening movements.  ALL are Welcome!

Yes Yoga

Tuesdays, Thursdays
8:15am – 9:30am EST

Ongoing + Year-round

This class is suitable for beginners as well as seasoned practitioners. The class moves from a seated/supine meditation or breath practice, to standing work designed to build strength/balance as well as be explorative in nature: props, interoception and playfulness are encouraged. We progress back to the floor where the class opens up to offer guided sequences as well as open time for students to cultivate their own practices. We end with savasana (relaxation pose).

Yogash chitta vritti nirodhah : Yoga is the uniting of consciousness in the heart. (Nischala Joy Devi - Patanjali’s Sutra 1.2)

1:1 Training Sessions (LIVE in person or via Zoom)

Inquire about Availability
$80.00/hour (discounted for multiple sessions)

Travel fees apply, if I come to you.

A private session with me involves an intake session where we’ll discuss your concerns and desires for your movement practice. We’ll work together to build a practice that suits your needs at the time and grow/expand as your needs do. A private practice might serve you if there have been injuries or chronic pain; if you aren’t sure a group class is the place you want to start; if you prefer 1:1 attention and time for yourself; you want to work on specific skills. I use yoga, dance, strength training, corrective exercises, somatic practices, philosophy, meditation, and breathing techniques to help craft a practice that suits you.

The best practice for you is the one you’ll do.
