A Yoga and Guided Imagery Meditation Class

Join us:  Antonia (Toni) and hypnotherapist Joanna Calderwood, for a special hour and a half class on Monday September 12, from 5:15 - 6:45 pm at the Studio at 47 Main Street, Tenants Harbor.

The first half will be a yoga class led by Toni, designed to deepen your breath and relaxation response to prepare you for a guided-imagery hypnotic meditation, led by Joanna, during the second half. The meditation portion of the class can be followed from the comfort of a yoga mat, or supportive chair.

This is a gentle invitation to dive within and hit PAUSE, to revive and rejuvenate as we head into fall. Benefits of deep breathing in yoga and the alert restfulness arrived at through hypnosis soothe the parasympathetic nervous system, which helps us better navigate day to day life stress. Come reset your sense of wellbeing. Side effects can include a quiet calm relaxed state of mind.


There is a 6 person minimum to run the class and a 15 person maximum, so kindly register to let us know you plan attend. The fee is $15.00, payable to Oryx Worx.

Joanna is a long-time resident and educator in the Midcoast area, and currently lives in Tenant’s Harbor with her husband Bill Nichols and their Wild Westie, Pippin. Over the years Joanna has developed an interest in the beneficial nature of clinical hypnosis. In 2011 she attended the Hypnotherapy Academy of America in Santa Fe, NM, for 10 weeks of intensive training; there, she learned how enriching and transformative hypnosis can be. She is certified through the International Board of Hypnotherapy as a Clinical Hypnotherapist with additional certifications in medical support hypnosis, coaching, and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). Joanna now devotes her time to working with clients to relieve stress, gain clarity and confidence, and achieve positive change mentally, physically and spiritually.
